Laser Skin Resurfacing
52-year-old female with excess skin on the upper lids. Note the lack of an inner fold on the lid, preventing eyeliner application, as well as excess fat on the lower lid. Postoperatively, upper lid skin has been excised and a high inner lid fold created, lifting skin from on top of the outer lid edge, revealing a platform for eyeliner. Lower lid fat removed without incision. Eyelid surgery completed using the laser.
Drooping of the left upper lid, also called eyelid ptosis, can be treated with eyelid surgery.
68-year-old female with noticeable lower lid wrinkles and "bags." Postoperative photo taken one week after removal of excess lower lid fat and CO2 laser skin resurfacing of lower lids. Redness is still present, but will fade over the next few weeks.
